**Where Are My Keys? – Part 4 - The Power of Prayer**

 Welcome to the Healing Waters Podcast, where we unlock the tools God has given us for peace, purpose, and promise. I am your host, LaDonna K. Sanders, and today we will continue to discuss the Power of Prayer.

God who yearns to hear from you every single day. He eagerly waits for you and me to speak to Him, to seek His guidance, and to let Him into our lives. For many people, prayer goes far beyond being ritualistic; it is an essential connection that can bring us closer to our God. Our creator is the one who graciously offers healing, support, and liberation to those who trust Him. 

God longs to connect with us. He is ready to provide the direction, strength, and intervention we so desperately need, prayer is the conduit God uses to assistance his children. Prayer is an open invitation to speak with your creator, and praise invites his intervention.

In Luke 18:1, Jesus tells us, 'We ought always to pray and not lose heart.' And in 2 Chronicles 7:14, He promises, 'If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.'

I have weathered some severe storms. Illness, injury, rejection, and despair threatened to overwhelm me. Still, the Word of God—especially those verses—anchored me in the storm, reminding me that our prayers connect us to a God who hears and answers prayer! 

I have witnessed God's extraordinary faithfulness firsthand in my family. We have been delivered from violence on every level: wars, stalking, death threats, shootings, terrible car crashes, and cancer. We received God's mercy and rescue when we faced death, leniency when we could have faced imprisonment, and protection during moments of great desperation.

Why did this happen? Not due to our merit, but because of God's grace and the power of prayer.

If you are praying for someone you love, please do not lose heart; do not stop seeking God; only believe! James 5:16 assures us, 'The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much.' Remember, both time and God are on your side."

"Prayer is a divine gift that produces tangible results—if you embrace it. So engage with Him. Use your key called prayer and trust that your miracle is on its way!"  

**A Testimony of God's Power**

I want to share a personal testimony that underscores the power of prayer. Back in the summer of 2005, I found myself making frequent trips to the emergency room due to persistent chest pains. The doctors repeatedly diagnosed me with anemia and stress.

Amid the confusion and uncertainty, I turned to God for clarity through prayer. One morning, a name kept resonating in my heart: 'Marin.' It was then that I recalled a doctor's name from a list I had tucked into my Bible.

I made an appointment with Dr. Josefina Vega Marin, who quickly ordered tests that uncovered the truth: I had a massive tumor. Praise God for modern medicine and attentive doctors. 

One evening, while praying. I sensed that I would indeed face a challenge, but God reassured me with this promise: 'I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord' (Psalm 118:17).

On July 7, 2006, Dr. Marin safely removed an 18-pound benign tumor. I'm here today because God hears our prayers and responds to them."  

Through this trial, I not only regained my health but also forged a friendship with Dr. Marin and her wonderful receptionist, Pastor Shirley Daniels. These incredible women exemplified God's love through their medical expertise, prayers, and support.

Friends, prayer is a crucial key that unlocks God's love, guidance, and miracles. But it is not the only key. God has also equipped us with:  

- The Blood of Jesus  

- The Name of Jesus  

- Obedience  

- The Word of God  

- Praise  

- Fasting  

These keys are not mere concepts; they're powerful instruments for your journey toward peace, protection, and purpose."

"If you find yourself struggling today, remember: God is with you every step of the way. Seek His presence, leverage the tools He has provided, and position yourself to witness His greatness.

Your family's peace, protection, and salvation are worth the effort. So, discover your keys and trust in God's unwavering faithfulness."
